The School of Intelligent Manufacturing(School of Aviation & Rail Transportation) is originated from the former Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department, which was established in 2000. It has approximately 1600 full-time students studying in five specialties, namely the specialty of mechatronics technology, numerical control technology, electrical automation technology, applied electronics technology and vehicle engineering & maintenance technology. Among these specialties, the specialty of mechatronics technology is considered having superiority in Zhejiang Province. Currently, the school has 69 faculty members, among whom 13 are associate or full professors, 2 hold doctoral degrees.

Ø  The School Intelligent Manufacturing(School of Aviation & Rail Transportation) has 3 training bases and 2 research institutes on campus, including the training base of numerical control technology, electronics technology and vehicle technology, the research institute of energy saving technology and modern mold technology. Meanwhile, it has more than 30 training bases outside the campus.

Ø  Students have achieved excellent results in various skills competitions at all levels, including national grand prize and second prize, etc. Besides, students have also obtained nearly 300 national patents and authorizations and published 50 theses. The employment rate of graduates continues to remain above 98%, which means our graduates are well received by enterprises.
