The School of Internet was established in 2012. It has approximately 1300 full-time students studying in five specialties, namely the specialty of software technology, computer applications technology, computer network technology, E-commerce and IOT(internet of things) application technology. Among these specialties, the specialty of  E-commerce and software technology are considered distinctive in Zhejiang Province. Currently, the school has 43 faculty members, among whom 11 are associate or full professors, 38 are qualified in more than one area.

Ø  The School of Internet supports the education concept of serving the local economy and being employment-oriented. It pays high attention to the cultivating of students’ core competitiveness of employment and promotes the integration between industry and education as well as the cooperation between the college and enterprises. It conducts talent cultivation reforms by approaches like the modern apprenticeship system, order training, etc.

Ø  The School of Internet has more than 30 training rooms on campus, including  training bases of software technology development, information security technology, cloud computing, IOT(internet of things) and VR(virtual reality), etc. Meanwhile, it has more than 30 training bases outside the campus, including China telecom, the Jiaxing E-Commerce Association, etc.

Ø  Students have achieved excellent results in various skills competitions at all levels, accumulatively won 3 national first prizes, 3 national second prizes, 3 national third prizes and more than 10 provincial awards. Students possess solid professional knowledge, favorable professional quality and strong professional skills. The employment rate of graduates continues to remain above 97%, which means our graduates are well received by enterprises.
