Recently, JXVTC has received the Certificate of Approval for Operation of Chinese-Foreign cooperatively run educational projects (between JXVTC and Queenstown Resort College, New Zealand). This is JXVTC’s first Sino-Foreign cooperatively run educational project, which means JXVTC has taken a significant step into the internationalization of education.

This project not only facilitates the resource complementarity of both sides, but also lays a solid foundation for enhancing students’ professional skills and assuring high-quality employment. QRC is famous for its excellent performance in professional teaching of tourism & hotel industry. It ranks among the best in various education evaluations in New Zealand. Its talent training standard is widely recognized by international hotel industry.

Since the signing of Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation in 2018, JXVTC and QRC have carried out in-depth communication and cooperation in different aspects. The leaders of QRC have visited JXVTC repeatedly for negotiating and forwarding cooperative project, student exchange and teacher training. After numerous discussions and conference calls, both sides have reached a consensus and figured out jointly the course configuration and talent training plan. JXVTC has sent respectively 11 outstanding students to QRC for short-term exchange studies, and plans to send more students to QRC for 14-week internship and other visits.

This cooperation is a remarkable start for JXVTC, the college will keep continuing the pace of internationalization in professional education, enlarging educational cooperation and facilitating the realization of college’s construction as “Prestigious Vocational & Technical College”.
